Film Audiences
Every film that has ever been made has had an audience that has watched it. In many cases films have been made to appeal to a certain kind of audience.
Thriller film audiences consist of a much wider range of people than other genres such as romantic films or war films in which the audience can be easily divided by gender. This is because thrillers have become on of the most popular movie genres. The main reason for this is because they involve a large range of sub-genres which can appeal to a wider range of people, for example a romantic thriller might appeal to a more feminine audience while an action packed thriller might appeal to a more masculine audience and a psychological thriller might appeal to an older audience.
Another reason for this is because thrillers contain elements of other genres for example there might be a romantic scene in a thriller or there could be occasional bits of comedy.
