The paper trail
The first thing you see when the opening starts is the ident of Candi studios. Then you hear what seems to be high strings or synth playing single notes even before the opening starts, this sets extreme tension because it makes the viewer think about what's going to happen next.

The first thing we see is a track shot of a cardboard box, this creates a mysterious feeling because the viewer has no information about this box.
The titles then begin to appear in an unusual font which almost looks decomposed. The director comes first followed by the stars.

A character is then introduced using a shot which is facing a window with very bright light coming out of it. This shows the characters silhouette which gives this character an anonymous feel.
The mise en-scene is very plain allowing the viewers' attention to fall on the few objects which are used. These objects are a cardboard
box and paper, referring to the title.
The diegetic sounds that are used are very strange and creepy, they remind me of sounds you would hear in horror movies. These sounds create tension along with the character doing origami because it makes the viewer think that something bad is going to happen.
